Are you struggling to find skilled farm or agribusiness employees?
The decline in rural workforce numbers has created an agricultural skills shortage. Auslink can assist you in finding skilled farm workers through:
- migrant visa applicants
- occupational trainees
Through existing migration legislation, Auslink can help solve your ag-skills shortage by connecting you with skilled overseas agricultural workers, eligible for relevant work visas.
Auslink can also assist farms and agribusinesses to find occupational trainees. The occupational trainee program provides the opportunity for overseas agriculture and ag-science graduates to work and enhance skills at the workplace or on-farm in Australia.
Placement for up to two years is part of the trainee’s agri-skills or agribusiness career development. During this training period, the trainee is eligible to further apply for a temporary 457 work visa or 187 permanent resident visa (depending on their eligibility to meet the relevant visa criteria).
Contact Auslink to find out how we can assist you in finding skilled agricultural staff.
